Moveee Indoor versions

Moveee Indoor's own version history — the browser trainer world, shared rooms and route scenery, separate from the rest of the app. Currently on Moveee Indoor v0.4.34.

v0.2.68

Moveee Indoor: the sea actually arrives now

2026-07-20
  • Fixed Coastal routes were still coming through with no sea at all. Scenery is read in widening rings and only the first ring that answers is used — and the shore was being asked for in a ring that never ran. Checked against the Izola route, which now returns the shoreline it should.
  • Changed Which side of the shore is water is now settled by the road itself: you are cycling, so the route is on land and the sea is the other side. That replaces a guess based on ground height, which could get it backwards and flood the land.
v0.2.67

Moveee Indoor: real sea, with waves

2026-07-20
  • Fixed The sea was running over headlands onto dry land in places and missing entirely in others. It was being swept outward from the shore by a fixed distance, which knows nothing about where the water actually is. Moveee now works out, for every patch of ground near the coast, which side of the real shoreline it falls on — so an inlet is water and the headland beside it is not.
  • Fixed On routes where the coast sits more than a kilometre away the sea often never appeared at all. Scenery is read outward in rings, and the shore was pinned to the widest one, so it arrived last or not at all. The shore is now read straight away and from much further out.
  • New The sea moves. Three crossing swells roll across the water and catch the light as they go. It runs entirely on the graphics card, so it costs the same whether you can see a bay or an open horizon.
v0.2.66

Moveee Indoor: a queued route asks how it should ride too · the sea no longer has holes in it

2026-07-20
  • Fixed A route queued from its detail page now shows the same setup step as one picked in the app — smoothing for climbs and out-and-back spurs — instead of dropping you straight into the world on whatever was set last time.
  • Fixed Stretches of sea were missing. The water was being built as one outline swept out from the shore, and on any bay tighter than the sweep that outline crossed itself — which drops whole spans when it is turned into a surface. The sea is now laid as a strip along the shore instead, so a bay simply overlaps itself rather than tearing a hole. More of the shore is kept per stretch of route, too.
v0.2.65

Moveee Indoor: the sea shows up

2026-07-20
  • New Coastal routes now have a sea. It was missing entirely — OpenStreetMap has no polygon for open water, only a line for the shore, so there was nothing to draw. Moveee now sweeps that shore seaward into a blue expanse. It picks the correct side by reading which way the ground falls away rather than trusting how the shore was drawn, so the land never ends up painted blue. Flat colour for now, not moving water.
v0.2.64

Moveee Indoor: cheaper forests and billboards

2026-07-20
  • Changed Forests well away from the road are now planted as a tree line rather than filled solid. You only ever see a wood's front from the saddle, so the trees behind it were being drawn for nobody — a big distant forest now costs a fraction of what it did and looks the same from the road. Woods you actually ride past are unchanged.
  • Changed Billboards no longer carry a texture. Each sign is drawn from scratch with its message, at a quarter of the memory, and boards sharing a slogan now share one material instead of one each — so a roadside full of them costs almost nothing. Blank white billboards can no longer appear.
  • Changed Overhead power lines reach further from the road, and pylons carry them out rather than stopping just past the verge.
v0.2.63

Moveee Indoor: out-and-back spurs removed by default

2026-07-20
  • Changed The ride setup now calls this what it is — out-and-back spurs — and removing them is the default, along with Very smooth climbs. Both defaults sit first, on the left.
v0.2.62

Moveee Indoor: pick a route, then set it up

2026-07-20
  • Changed Loading a route is now two steps. First you pick the route, with a search box for finding one among many; then you set up how it rides. The ride settings now name the route you chose rather than sitting above a list you have not chosen from yet.
  • New A new "Remove switchbacks" choice. Turn it on and Moveee cuts the out-and-back detours a route sometimes picks up in the builder — the ones that ride a hundred metres down a road and straight back out. Real mountain hairpins are never touched, because a hairpin climbs away rather than returning to the point it left. The distance you ride is recalculated from the cleaned route.
v0.2.61

Moveee Indoor: the start is still there when you come round again

2026-07-20
  • Fixed Coming round a lap to the start of a route, the buildings and scenery there were missing. The world only kept the section you are in and the ones either side of it, and that window stopped at the last section instead of carrying on round to the first — so the start was thrown away while you rode the final stretch, and you arrived back at a section still being rebuilt.
v0.2.60

Moveee Indoor: the big hospital block only appears at real hospitals

2026-07-20
  • Fixed The large hospital building from the city pack was being used as an ordinary building anywhere in a town. It now appears only where the map marks a hospital, and only where that hospital is big enough to carry it — smaller ones get the compact hospital instead.
v0.2.59

Moveee Indoor: fifteen new buildings for towns and villages

2026-07-20
  • New Fifteen new low-poly buildings now appear along your route — village houses, mid-rise blocks and a tower — so built-up stretches have far more variety than the handful of shapes they repeated before.
  • New A hospital now appears where OpenStreetMap marks one, rather than that spot getting an ordinary block.
v0.2.58

Moveee Indoor: the real map keeps up with you

2026-07-20
  • Fixed The real-world map beside the ride now follows you smoothly instead of stepping along behind. It was only moving five times a second because it shared a timer with the route map and the elevation profile, which are much more expensive to redraw; it now has its own faster one.
v0.2.57

Moveee Indoor: kerbs meet the road, with a kerb line again

2026-07-19
  • Fixed The pavement now meets the tarmac directly. It used to stand back from the road edge, leaving a strip of grass running down the gutter the whole length of the street.
  • New The kerb stone is drawn in its own colour again, so the corner of the kerb reads as a line down the street the way it did on the old kit model.
v0.2.56

Moveee Indoor: town blocks stay in town

2026-07-19
  • Fixed Big town-centre buildings turned up far too often, including as lone blocks standing in a field. They were used for every building inside a mapped built-up area, and those areas cover whole villages — gardens and edges included. A town block now needs a town block's footprint, and only some of those that qualify take one, so village houses stay village houses.
v0.2.55

Moveee Indoor: pavements that bend with the street

2026-07-19
  • Fixed Pavements now follow a curve properly. They were laid as fixed six-metre kerb pieces, which cut straight across a bend and left the kerb stepping and drifting away from the road; the pavement is now generated along the street itself, so it curves exactly with it.
  • Changed Because the pavement no longer waits for a kit to load, it appears with the street rather than showing a flat placeholder strip first and being swapped out afterwards.
v0.2.54

Moveee Indoor: proper traffic lights at real intersections

2026-07-19
  • Changed Traffic lights now appear only where a big road really crosses your route — a main, regional or through road. They used to turn up at any city side street, including little service roads that would never be signalled.
  • New A signalled crossing now gets a full set of lights instead of a single one: one on the corner of every approach, each turned to face its own oncoming traffic, so every road into the junction has its own light the way a real intersection does.
v0.2.53

Moveee Indoor: right-sized town-centre building

2026-07-19
  • Fixed The town-centre building was rendering far too large in cities; it now sits at a realistic size wherever it appears.
v0.2.52

Moveee Indoor: real hills, now reliably and right up beside the road

2026-07-19
  • Improved The real terrain around your route now shows up reliably and with far more of its true shape. The elevation map comes from a source with no request limit, so the hills no longer quietly disappear when it's busy; and a hill next to the road now rises at its real height and right up close to the road, instead of being flattened for a few hundred metres on either side. Tall mountains keep more of their height, too.
v0.2.51

Moveee Indoor: the things you ride past always get placed

2026-07-19
  • Changed Buildings, forests, trees and fields within 30 metres of the road are now placed first, ahead of everything further out — so in a busy area the world no longer spends its budget on distant scenery and leaves the things right beside you missing. A building close to the road is never dropped to a cap.
  • Changed When there are more features than a section can show, it now keeps the ones nearest the road rather than an arbitrary selection, and carries a few more buildings and fields per section than before.
v0.2.50

Moveee Indoor: cobblestone foot and cycle paths

2026-07-19
  • New The small paths OpenStreetMap maps beside your route — footpaths, cycle paths, bridleways, pedestrian ways and steps — now appear as narrow cobblestone paths, where before they were not drawn at all.
  • Changed Cycle paths used to be drawn as a plain grey road; they now get the same cobblestone surface as the other small paths, so they read as paths rather than little roads.
v0.2.49

Moveee Indoor: real hills beside the road, not just under it

2026-07-19
  • New The land around your route now rises and falls the way the real terrain does — a hill or ridge next to the road appears even where the road itself stays flat and never climbs it. Moveee reads a real elevation map for the whole area around the route (not just the line you ride), so a flat valley road can have the real mountains standing on either side of it. The road keeps its own measured gradient exactly; only the surroundings gain the real relief. If the elevation data is briefly unavailable the world quietly falls back to the previous gentle rolling hills, and the map is cached so it is fetched only once per route.
v0.2.48

Moveee Indoor: fields fill in again after the edge-smoothing

2026-07-18
  • Fixed Smoothing the outlines of fields and woods had quietly shrunk each one, so neighbouring patches pulled apart and bare ground showed through where the map has a continuous mosaic of colour. Each patch is now grown back to its real size after smoothing, so the landscape is full of colour again while keeping its soft edges.
v0.2.47

Moveee Indoor: real gravel road surface

2026-07-18
  • Changed Gravel routes now roll over a real photoscanned gravel surface instead of a drawn approximation. Whenever a route is mostly unpaved, its road takes on the new gravel texture automatically.
  • New The gravel photo was cropped to a clean tile, its lighting evened out and its file size cut to a fraction of the original, so it looks continuous down the road without slowing the ride.
v0.2.46

Moveee Indoor: every mapped forest becomes a real forest

2026-07-17
  • New Every wood and forest OpenStreetMap marks along your route is now filled with trees, and far more densely than before — so the forests you ride past are the forests that are really there. This is drawn to stay fast: the mass forest uses low-poly tree models and GPU instancing, so a whole forest costs the graphics card only a handful of draws, and each forest streams in over a few frames instead of arriving in one lump.
v0.2.45

Moveee Indoor: roadside trees drawn as GPU instances

2026-07-17
  • Fixed Roadside trees — copses, scattered trees and single mapped trees — are now drawn as GPU instances, the way the mapped woods already were, so a whole stand of them costs the graphics card one or two draws instead of hundreds. They were the biggest single cost in a city (three quarters of everything the frame drew), so this is what lets a dense route hold its framerate. The trade-off is that an individual roadside tree is no longer separately selectable in the admin tools, the same as the mapped woods have always been.
v0.2.44

Moveee Indoor: lighter scenery for a smoother city

2026-07-17
  • Fixed Cities and dense routes ran at 20–28 fps. Roadside trees had grown to three quarters of everything the scene draws, so their numbers are cut back to a level a frame can afford — copses are smaller and spaced further apart, and the roadside tree scatter is thinned. Broad woodland still comes from the cheap GPU-instanced mapped woods, so the landscape stays full.
v0.2.43

Moveee Indoor: fields and woods with soft, natural edges

2026-07-17
  • Improved Fields, meadows, woods, parks and other natural land now have smooth, flowing outlines instead of the hard angular corners the map data traces them with. Built-up lots — housing, industry, a quarry — keep their straight surveyed edges, and roads are untouched.
v0.2.42

Moveee Indoor: free camera on Tab, faster fly-through

2026-07-17
  • Changed Admins can now enter and leave the free camera with the Tab key, instead of only through the debug menu.
  • Changed Holding Shift in the free camera now flies about five times faster than before, so you can cross a long route in a moment; Alt still slows right down for close inspection.
v0.2.41

Moveee Indoor: cities have their buildings back

2026-07-17
  • Fixed Riding through a city no longer gives you an empty world. The request for the real map could not be answered for somewhere that dense, and the world read the failure as 'there is nothing here' — so a city centre was built with no buildings, no roads and no land at all. Central Ljubljana now returns 500 buildings, 180 roads and 300 land patches.
  • Improved Far more of the buildings OpenStreetMap maps are actually built — nearly all of them on a built-up street, where before more than half of every town was silently dropped.
  • Improved Mapped neighbours no longer push each other off the map: houses on a dense street were each reserving a circle wide enough for their corners in every direction, so a terrace lost most of itself.
v0.2.40

Moveee Indoor: a plane crosses the sky

2026-07-17
  • New Every few minutes an airliner tracks across the sky in the distance, high up and going somewhere else entirely. Rare enough that you catch it rather than watch it.
v0.2.39

Moveee Indoor: a low-poly tree pack, split into separate objects

2026-07-17
  • New Thirteen new low-poly objects join the library, each its own reviewable object rather than one pack: ten trees, a bare dead tree, a cut stump and a rock cluster. The trees and the dead tree join woodland scenery, the stump joins the ground clutter, and the rock joins the rocks.
